Even after decades of relevance, and dominance over them, UNC is still a bigger name in SE VA than VT is. That's the reality. Its always going to be hard to deal with them, but nearly impossible when we suck ourselves.

The last 10 years have been especially brutal to VT's reputation. We've been bad way too long. In many ways, we lost a generation of support, there's a gap. I fear we've "almost" hit the reset button on the brand Beamer spent 30 years building. Pry isn't starting rock bottom, but WAY below where Fuente started.

It will be interesting to see how quickly Pry can revive the VT name.
